Love Your Dog, Massage Away!

Zoey Says Stick It To Canine Cancer It’s the first day of May, and you know what that means, right? Well just in case you forgot, it’s part one of my twice monthly reminder to check your pets for lumps and bumps. (The second part always occurs on the 14th)

Besides the possibility of finding a lump that could signal cancer in your pets body, (not all lumps mean your pet has cancer!) many believe that pet massage offers the same benefits as human massage including, increased circulation, improved digestion, strengthened immunity, stress relief, and muscle relaxation. It is also thought that if properly administered, massage can help dogs recover from illness, and injuries. There are plenty of trained massage therapists that can help, but you don’t have to be a specialists when it comes to finding a lump!

Love Adds Up

One dollar ($1.00) from every sale is donated to aid in the research for a cure, while the remainder of the funds keeps me well supplied with the Warning Signs of Cancer in Pet Animals cards!

My ultimate goal is to provide awareness about canine cancer, and to raise funds to help find a cure for this insidious disease. It was almost four years ago that my mom lost her very best friend Cain to cancer, and she created Love Adds Up. It was the worst time ever for her, and I came along at a time when she needed me most, but I’ll save this part of the story for another time.

I’m a best friend and ambassadog, and I’m a fa*bull*ous pit bull role model, with an intense goal to help eradicate cancer in my lifetime!! To date nearly 150,000 (107,000 on Facebook alone!) of my cards have fallen into the hands of dog lovers around the world, and every day, I inch closer to that 1,000,000 mark! If what I do helps save the lives of more dogs, than my mission is complete.

So what are you waiting for? Please get busy, and start massaging away!!
