Cain is more alert today, but a freak wintery storm is blowing outside and there will be no walks today. He follows me to the barn for the afternoon horse feeding and digs his toy out of the deep snow for a brief game of tug of war. It’s a welcome sight and though I don’t care for the snow, I stay outside to play and capture this special moment.
Two feet of snow, still ready to go!
