Oh Romeo!

“Romeo, Romeo, where art thou Romeo?”

“Hark, I hear someone calling my name! I am here, at the Humane Society of the South Platte Valley in Littleton, Colorado. I await for thee with a smile on my face, a wiggle in my butt, and a soft pounding in my heart! Though I am treated well here, my heart yearns for a loving home, and human companionship!”

“My dear, sweet Romeo! Ours was but a path, waiting to be crossed. Perhaps there is some loving soul in this vast universe who has love in their heart for thee, and can provide a happy home.”

“Ah, sweet human. My life is in your hands. Must I say, I walk well on a leash, enjoy the company of other dogs, and I have more love to share, than mere words can speak.”

“Oh Romeo, Romeo we must find a home for thee!”

All Shakespeare-eeze aside…I had the joy of meeting Romeo at the National Pit Bull Awareness Day Parade, and he is one special little guy. Please share his plight, wherever you are. The universe is large, and somewhere Romeo’s soul mate is waiting to be found to bring a happy ending, and beautiful new beginning, to this story!

Romeo awaits adoption at the Humane Society of the South Platte Valley.
